Buffalo Grove police to host Trivia Night for Special Olympics

The Buffalo Grove Police Department will host its 4th annual Trivia Night on Saturday, Nov. 9, at a new location, Concorde Banquets, 20922 N. Rand Road in Kildeer.

The event will raise money for Special Olympics Illinois and the 23,000 athletes it supports. To date, the Buffalo Grove Police Department has raised more than half a million dollars for Special Olympics, including more than $55,000 in 2018.

"We are looking forward to our largest turnout yet," said Chief Steven Casstevens, who is also emceeing the event. "This is a fantastic night made possible by all of our sponsors and volunteers, as well as our community coming together to support Special Olympics and their families."

The event will consist of 10 rounds of challenging questions, dinner, multiple raffle opportunities and a cash bar. Silent raffle items include sports memorabilia, gift baskets, gift cards and more.
