Ruck March for veterans Sept. 7 in Lake Villa
The third annual 22K Ruck March of Lake County walk/run to raise awareness for military and veteran suicides will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, starting at Daisy's Artish Cafe, 216 N. Milwaukee Avenue, No. 1, Lake Villa.
Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Lake County Veterans and Family Services Foundation dedicated to reducing the amount of time it takes for veterans to ask for help with mitigating issues. The distance is 22 kilometers or about 13 miles.
