Art festival volunteers:

Volunteers are needed for the 9th annual Mundelein Arts Festival, Sept. 7 and 8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Kracklauer Park, 100 N. Seymour Ave., Mundelein. Sponsored by the Mundelein Community Connection, the free juried arts festival features art, live music, food, and kids crafts. For information, visit mundeleincommunityconnection.org. Volunteer jobs include setup, handing out water to artists, booth sitting and getting their lunches, helping to man the Kids Secret Shopping Tent and Kiddie art tent, and others. Currently, there are more than 30 spots open.
