Fallen trees damage two homes
Fallen trees due to storms left significant damage to two homes Sunday morning, according to Greater Round Lake Fire Protection District officials.
Both occurred in the Round Lake Park area. The incidents were independently reported around 9:50 a.m. Sunday with a fallen tree completely destroying a motor home residence at 729 Treeview Lane. Battalion Chief Tony Carraro reported the home's residents - a mother and three children - escaped without injury.
The other incident occurred at 227 New House Lane with a severed tree limb causing significant damage and the evacuation of the home's residents without injury.
