The Fire & Iron Motorcycle Club, a nationwide club of motorcycle-riding firefighters, will hold a fundraiser at Choppers Bar and Grill in Antioch on Saturday to benefit operation Combat Bikesaver.

The event is set from 2 to 8 p, m. at the establishment, 26735 W. Route 173.

Based in Crown Point, Indiana, Operation Combat Bikesaver works to help veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder and other issues, in part through working with them to refurbish old motorcycles, either to get them back on the road or create pieces of art from them. The organization provides all the parts, tools, machines, supplies, assistance, instruction and the facility for the vets to build their own bike.
