Lake County Forest Preserve to host Full Moon Hike in Antioch

The Lake County Forest Preserve District is hosting a special nighttime hike to take advantage of a bright moon on Thursday.

The event, called the Full Moon Hike, will start at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, at Pine Dunes, 42909 Hunt Club Road in Antioch. The group will walk the 2.2-mile trail as the sun sets and the full moon rises. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

The group will meet in the Hunt Club Road parking lot. Registration for the event is $5 for Lake County residents and $7 for everyone else. Registration is available at lcfpd.org/events.
