Palatine Park District hosts Falcon Park open house Aug. 10

The Palatine Park District is hosting an open house at the Falcon Park Recreation Center facility, 2195 N. Hicks Road in Palatine, from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10.

The event is free and will include a variety of activities and events. Families are invited to try out bubble soccer, Nerf adventure party, gym sports party, the inflatable obstacle course and a bounce castle.

Falcon Park Recreation Center offers many rental possibilities from small meetings to large events. Two spaces will be available for viewing to see a sample room set up for a banquet for 80 people and a gymnasium set up for a 128-person event.

Additional opportunities at the event will include mascot visits, information and on-site employment applications will be accepted. A free raffle will be available as well for gift certificates and Palatine Park District logo items.
