Musicians from the Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 Music for Youth Program will perform during the Arlington Heights Farmers Market on Saturday.

Some 25 young musicians in grades K-8 will play violin and cello pieces to entertain market-goers beginning at 9:30 a.m. The market takes place on the grounds of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 W. Fremont St.

Music for Youth is a Suzuki-based stringed instrument program in which children practice with their parents at home to reinforce teachers' lessons. Enrollment is open to children attending a public, private or home school within the District 25 boundaries.
