Woman who died after being pulled from lake identified

The woman pulled from the water at Lake Front Park in Round Lake Beach on Saturday who later died has been identified as Cresenciana Pineda-Moreno, a 66-year-old from Teloloapan, Guerrero, Mexico, according to the Lake County coroner's office.

A Monday news release reported Pineda-Morena died at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville Sunday morning. Authorities announced today that preliminary autopsy results cannot be released at this time as they await further test results, including toxicology.

Pineda-Moreno was here visiting relatives from Wheeling and Round Lake Beach. She was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being pulled from the water by a lifeguard and a nearby swimmer.
