Palatine Jaycees announcedHometown Parade winners
Organizers of the Palatine Jaycees Hometown Parade on July 6 have announced this year's winners in various categories.
The Best of Parade award went to Palatine Gymnastics, according to the judges, and the Best Use of Theme was awarded to American Legion Post 690.
Other winners include: Most Patriotic to Palatine Democrats; Best Musical to Palatine Public Library; and Best Float to Sikh Religious Society.
The Palatine Jaycees have staged a Fourth of July festival annually since 1957.
