Lake Barrington hosting first Concert in the Park

Lake Barrington will host its first Concert in the Park on Thursday at Freier Farm. The free fun will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at the village-owned property at 23585 N. Kelsey Road. Village officials encourage visitors to bring picnic baskets, blankets and chairs for the blues and rock music of Kevin Purcell and the Nightburners at the historic 26-acre farm. "We are very excited to be offering the newly created Concert in the Park for our residents at our very own Freier Farm. Our village strives to provide residents with continual access to our open spaces with family-friendly fun. We welcome all residents, families and guests to attend this concert, and enjoy a summer evening out in Lake Barrington," said Lake Barrington Village President Kevin Richardson.
