Gurnee library to host free design event for teens

The Warren-Newport Public Library will host a workshop to help teens create designs and affix them to T-shirts, canvas bags or pillow cases on Saturday.

The teens will use library computers to make their design, which will then be sent to the library's cutting machine. The design will be cut onto heat transfer material and the teens will use an iron to press it onto their desired medium.

All skill levels are welcome. The workshop will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The library is located at 224 O'Plaine Road in Gurnee. Registration for the event is not required.
