Lake Zurich will once again ask residents what they think about the quality of life in the community, their satisfaction with municipal services, where public resources should be directed and where they think the village is headed overall.

This summer, the village will be partnering with the National Research Center of Boulder, Colorado to conduct the 2019 National Citizen Survey. The survey uses a random sampling of 1,700 Lake Zurich households.

"Participation in this survey is very important, especially since only a sampling of households are being surveyed," Mayor Tom Poynton said. "If you are one of the 1,700 selected households, please be sure to take a few moments and complete the survey, as the results will be rich in valuable data and very relevant to the village board of trustees in future decision making."

The survey is designed based on the experience of hundreds of local governments. The village previously conducted the survey in 2015 and 2017.
