Antioch Shopping Plaza sold

The Antioch Shopping Plaza, anchored by a Piggly Wiggly grocery store, has been sold for $2.625 million. Rafinia Property Group of Great Neck, New York and CBRE retail in Oak Group recently announced the sale of the 87,762-square-foot community strip center at Hillside Avenue and Orchard Street west of downtown. The unnamed buyer is a New York-based private investment company. According to the sellers, exterior improvements to the center are planned but the extent or timeline was not available. Village officials said no applications regarding work at the center have been submitted and there have been no formal discussions regarding incentives or assistance.
