A 23-year-old Woodstock man is facing multiple drug charges after the McHenry County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force arrested him with what is estimated to be more than $27,000 worth of illegal substances, officials said.

Raymundo Gomez, of the 1000 block of Greenwood Circle, has been charged with 19 counts, including dealing drugs and possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office issued Tuesday afternoon.

Police investigated Gomez for four months before obtaining a warrant to enter his residence, the release said, and when police arrived May 22 to take Gomez into custody, detectives seized 150 grams of cocaine, 1 gram of MDMA, 341 grams of cannabis, 29 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 51 amphetamine and dextroamphetamine pills, 30 alprazolam pills, 6 morphine pills, packaging material, drug paraphernalia and $2,511 in cash, according to the news release.

A judge set Gomez's bond at $250,000, and his next scheduled court date is June 7.
