Everyone outside! Is the mantra for conservation group's summer camp

Citizens for Conservation camps start June 10

Kids can explore prairie, wetlands and savanna habitats at Citizens for Conservation's summer camps for kids.

The session from June 10-14 is for children ages 5-7; the June 17-21 session is aimed at kids ages 8-10. The camps will feature hands-on activities, nature-related crafts and outdoor exploration.

Campers will learn about native flowers, birds, insects, butterflies and more. Both camps will be held at Citizens for Conservation headquarters, 459 W. Highway 22, Lake Barrington.

Fees per child are $100 for Citizens for Conservation members; $150 for nonmembers.
