Fireside chat with North Chicago mayor May 23
North Chicago Mayor Leon Rockingham Jr. will be the guest for a Fireside Chat at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, off Hook Drive west of Route 83.
Round Lake Beach Mayor Richard Hill is the host of the regularly held chats that bring county, state, and federal officials closer to local residents. The event begins with a meet and greet followed by an informal conversation between Hill and the featured guest from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. and then a question-and-answer session.
Coffee and desserts will be provided. Fireside Chats at the Center are open to the public at no charge.
