Elgins' iFest brings world cultures together

Elgin's International Festival, also known as iFest, brought together people Saturday from dozens of world cultures to share food, traditional clothing and dances with others.

Held inside The Centre of Elgin's Heritage Ballroom and outside, the annual festival is free, open to all ages and featured a variety of exhibitors and vendors from the Fox Valley area, along with live music, children's activities and items for sale.

The event was held by the city and Explore Elgin Area.
