New District 214 school board officers chosen

The Northwest Suburban High School District 214 school board has chosen new officers to serve in those positions for one-year terms.

Dan Petro, an eight-year board member, was selected as the panel's president and 21-year board member Bill Dussling was named vice president. Petro and Dussling, both of Arlington Heights, recently were reelected, along with Alva Kreutzer, a 20-year incumbent from Elk Grove Village. They ran unopposed in the April 2 election for three open spots on the board.
