Des Plaines Elementary School District 62 seated board members Tina Garrett, Beth Morley and Kelly Morrissey for four-year terms at Monday's board of education meeting.

The board also elected Stephanie Duckmann as its president and Ronald Burton as its vice president, and recognized outgoing member Sharon Lynch for her 15 years of service.

Board members agreed to hold meetings on the third Monday of the month, except the August meeting will be held on Aug. 12, in order to not conflict with the first day of school for 10-month schools; the January meeting will be held Jan. 21, 2020 due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday; and the February meeting will be held Feb. 18, 2020 due to Presidents Day.
