Lake County DOT seeks input on propsoed ordinance changes

The Lake County Division of Transportation will host a public information open house from 3:30 p.m. to 5 30 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, to discuss its ongoing work to revise ordinances regulating highway access and utility placement.

The goal of the ordinance revision project is to make changes to the permitting process making it easier to follow and more customer friendly, while increasing flexibility in applying highway standards, and increasing local control where appropriate.

The open house will take place at the LCDOT offices at 600 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville.

Interested parties also can submit comments online at .lakecountyil.gov/FormCenter/Transportation-7/Public-Comment-Proposed-Lake-County-High-291.
