Schaumburg Township hosts mental health awareness fair May 7

Schaumburg Township's Mental Health Committee (MHC) will host Minds Matter, a mental health awareness fair, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.

The free fair will feature booths representing a wide variety of social service, mental health and wellness organizations, among others.

Residents can learn about individual mental health and safety. Free snacks and activities will be available.

Guest speakers will cover a variety of topics including "Self-Care to Manage Stress," "Don't Try Harder, Try Different," "Overdose Education" and "Accessing Entitlement Community-Based Services."
