March against substance abuse April 27 in Gurnee

The Lake County Young Marines and the Lake County Opioid Initiative Task Force will host the second annual Drug Demand Reduction March on April 27.

The march will begin at the Gurnee Police Department at 8:30 a.m. and proceed to Six Flags Great America. It is designed to urge people to take a stand against drug and substance abuse.

The first 100 registered attendees get one free park admission ticket to Six Flags. Online registration can be completed at eventbrite.com/e/drug-demand-reduction-march-tickets.
