Des Plaines District 62 hires new principal for Iroquois Community School

Des Plaines District 62 is hiring from within the district to fill the job of principal at Iroquois Community School.

The school board voted Monday to approve the hire of Kelly Krueger as principal of the year-round school. Krueger has served as principal of Central Elementary School for the past 10 years.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

District officials said Krueger was an integral part of creating he district's five-year strategic plan, supporting a new model of co-teaching for English learners and enhancing the school's use of student data to drive instructional decisions.

"I have heard wonderful things about the staff, students and families at Iroquois and look forward to providing academic experiences for children at Iroquois that are rigorous and relevant," Krueger said in a news release.

Krueger will be paid $140,105.
