Schaumburg library hosts writing workshops in April, May

Writers are invited to the free writing and editing workshops that are part of "Inside Writing and Publishing" in April and May at the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

All will take place in the Adult Classroom on the library's second floor.

The presentations kicks off with "Nail that Pitch: How to Talk to Agents and Editors," from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13.

The second program is "Types of Editing and When You Need Them," from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25.

The series will conclude with "Why These Words? An Actor Looks at Dialogue," from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2.
