Changes to Sayton Road in Fox Lake:

A new traffic pattern was put in place on Sayton Road in Fox Lake on March 15 in preparation for road construction to begin in the spring, authorities said. The traffic change includes barricading either side of the railroad tracks, which restricts traffic from entering or leaving Sayton Road from Rollins Road. Northbound traffic on Sayton from Industrial Avenue will be one way, while two-way traffic will be available on Sayton Road from Route 12 to Christopher Way. This closure will allow the contractor to work on installing storm sewers and removing pavement in preparation for new asphalt, which is anticipated to take approximately two to three months.
