District 60 music fundraiser May 19
Bravo Waukegan, a Lake Forest-based nonprofit organization supporting music education in Waukegan Unit District 60 schools, will host its annual benefit luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at Lake Forest's Onwentsia Club, 300 N. Green Bay Road.
The event is open to the public, and tickets are $95. Themed "Music Connects Us to the World," the benefit will demonstrate how Bravo helps connect Waukegan to the community by offering music opportunities to students.
The fundraiser will feature a special live program performed by Waukegan public school musicians. Funds raised will be used to support Waukegan public school music education programming.
