'Taste' of Rolling Meadows on Saturday night
The 3rd annual Rolling Meadows Taste the Town on Saturday night will offer samples from 15 local restaurants, a cash bar and live music.
The indoor festival - like a taste of Rolling Meadows - is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive. Vendors include The Stadium Sports Club, Giant Sakura, Pita Pita, Grande Jake's, Rep's Place, Picante Mexican Bar & Grill, Buona Beef, Fratello's, Honeybaked Ham, Jersey Mike's, Senor Tacos, Portillo's, Jimmy John's, Little Caesars and Dunkin' Donuts.
Tickets are $15 at the door. The cash bar will have beer, wine and pop. Howl2Go Dueling Pianos will perform throughout the night.
Some 500 people attended last year's event. It's hosted by the city, Community Events Foundation and park district.
