Pregnant? Volunteer for ultrasound at Harper College

The Harper College Diagnostic Cardiac and Medical Sonography programs are seeking volunteers interested in receiving free obstetrical ultrasounds. A limited number of appointments are available through April 10.

Participants for the obstetrical ultrasounds must be at least 18 weeks pregnant. The free test, which lasts about an hour, is non-diagnostic. Volunteers will not receive a medical report but may be instructed to follow-up with a physician. Obstetrical ultrasound volunteers may receive 2-D/3-D image copies.

Exams are performed by students on state-of-the-art equipment, under the supervision of a registered diagnostic medical sonographer. Harper's program conforms to all patient safety regulations.

To make an appointment, contact Karen in the Harper College Diagnostics Imaging Lab at (847) 925-6104.
