Craft beer tasting event March 2 in Vernon Hills

The Vernon Hills Park District is hosting its sixth craft beer tasting event from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Sullivan Community Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.

Several breweries will pour samples of their ales, lagers, stouts, and ciders. Live music will be featured and food available for purchase.


Participants receive a free tasting glass with each ticket purchase. Breweries on site include: Kings & Convicts Brewing Co., Prairie Krafts Brewing Co., Tighthead Brewing Company, Mickey Finn's Brewery, Ravinia Brewing Company, Only Child Brewing, Buffalo Creek Brewing, What's Brewing? Supply, and Shilling Hard Cider.

Tickets are $30, or $35 after Feb. 23. Designated Driver tickets are $10, available at the door. Visit
