College planning events next week at Mundelein High

Mundelein High School's guidance department will host college planning programs Feb. 12 in Spanish and Feb. 13 in English, in the school's auditorium.

Both events will start at 7 p.m. The events are designed to help juniors begin the college planning process. However, any students and their families can attend.

Andrea Rusk, the school's college counselor, who will provide information to help students prepare to finalize their search for the best fit colleges.

A panel of college representatives also will be on hand to discuss what students should do leading up to the fall application process so that they can be prepared and not feel overwhelmed. The panel will include representatives from Augustana College, Michigan Technological University, Iowa State University, National Louis University, the University of Illinois, and the University of Glasgow (United Kingdom).
