Free emergency response training in Fremont Township

The Fremont Township CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) is offering a six-week training program at no cost.

Topics include disaster preparedness, fire safety, first aid skills, light search and rescue operations, disaster psychology, and terrorism.

The class will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Feb. 13 to March 20, at the Fremont Township office, 22385 W. Route 60 near Mundelein.
