Hanover Park president joins national transportation panel

Hanover Park Village President Rodney Craig, has been appointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2019 Transportation and Infrastructure Services (TIS) federal advocacy committee.

This committee has the lead responsibility for developing NLC's federal policy positions on issues involving transportation, including planning, funding, safety and security of public transit, streets and highways, aviation, railroads and ports. "I am honored to be appointed to the TIS committee," Craig said. "Transportation and infrastructure are a key component to the economic success of my community, the state and our country. I look forward to working on the committee and advocating on behalf of all local communities." As a committee member, Craig will play a key role in shaping NLC's policy positions and advocate on behalf of America's cities and towns before Congress, with the administration and at home.
