Solar proposal on Long Grove agenda
A proposed ground-mounted solar energy system for Woodlawn School, 6362 Gilmer Road, is on the agenda for the Long Grove village board during its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the village hall, 3110 Old McHenry Road. The board also will discuss changing the village code to define and apply zoning regulations for impervious surfaces for smaller residential lots and consider standards for Com Ed and other utilities for how and when oaks and other native and protected trees are trimmed to reduce the spread of disease.
