One person suffered minor injuries in a Des Plaines house fire Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Crews were called to a fire on the 600 block of West Millers Road around 3:52 p.m. Saturday, Des Plaines Fire Department Battalion Chief Scott Peirson said. The fire in the tri-level home was under control about a half-hour later, Peirson said.

A 48-year-old man was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge with minor injuries, Peirson said.
