Rotary Club of Palatine seeks local nonprofit groups for possible donations

Rotary Club of Palatine is accepting applications from local community organizations for possible donations through an annual allocation program.

Organizations applying for funding from the Rotary Club should support the Palatine community directly and be recognized as tax exempt by the Internal Revenue Service.

Money to be distributed was raised during the 2018 Oktoberfest celebration held in September in downtown Palatine. Applications are available at palatinerotary.com.

"We had an excellent Oktoberfest that will aid the Rotary Club of Palatine in allocating funds to those in need within our community," said organization President Cindy Stoeckel. "It's a great feeling to be part of an organization that can give back so much, especially when so many have had to cut back in recent years."
