Mount Prospect crews to pick up storm debris beginning Dec. 3

Mount Prospect Works Department personnel and village contractors will pick up fallen tree limbs and brush from this week's winter storn beginning Monday, Dec. 3.

Crews will pick up any storm related tree debris on public parkways. Residents with private property tree damage should place their tree

debris on the parkway in front of their homes before 7 a.m. Monday. If possible, debris should be positioned so that the stump ends of the limbs face the street.

Public works crews will not enter private property to remove privately owned tree debris. No appointments for tree debris removal will be made. Crews will travel through the village on a street-by-street basis. Once a complete pass of the village has been completed, the service will be discontinued.
