Improv Playhouse to present live-staged radio drama

Improv Playhouse, the Libertyville-based theater company, will perform the live-staged radio drama "It's A Wonderful Life" for a two-weekend run at its home, 735 N. Milwaukee Ave. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 and 15, and Friday, Dec. 14. Matinees will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday Dec. 9 and Dec. 16. The quintessential holiday story of redemption will be performed as it was on live radio in the 1940s, complete with commercials and sound effects. The production is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
