Miles for Mustangs:

Mundelein High School's 5K run/walk, Miles for Mustangs, will be Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22, at 9 a.m. A 1-mile run/walk for children ages 10 and under will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by awards. The cost is $25 for the Family 5K, age 11 & up, $30 on race day, and $10 for the Kids' Mile for kids 10 and under. Parents or siblings may participate with children in the 1-mile for free, but will not receive a T-shirt. T-shirts will be provided to all participants registered on or before midnight Nov. 19. A light breakfast will be provided for all participants. Register at www.d120.org and click the shopping cart on the homepage. Packet pickup is 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 21, at Mundelein High School. Proceeds benefit the school's cross country and track teams.
