Lincolnshire police offer free training

The Lincolnshire Police Department has certified ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate) instructors ready to meet with members of Lincolnshire organizations to teach how to proactively manage the dangers of an active shooter or aggressive intruder. This free training is available to local businesses, houses of worship, schools, non-profit organizations, and multi-residential housing facilities. Contact Cmdr. Kim Covelli via email or at (847) 913-2345, to schedule a free presentation. Presentations include classroom instruction and interactive hands-on training allowing participants to test newly acquired skills. They typically last less than two hours. For a more effective training session, instructors try to limit group sizes to less than 30 people at a time.
