Patrick Sharp, Ian Happ appearing at First Tee fundraiser

Three-time NHL Stanley Cup winner Patrick Sharp and Chicago Cub star Ian Happ are special guests at Luke Donald's 10th Anniversary Taste of The First Tee being held Monday night at Medinah Country Club. The First Tee of Greater Chicago, an organization founded in 2000 with the primary goal of impacting the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf, also will honor Bruce Patterson, past president, as the inaugural recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. Patterson is director of golf at Butler National Golf Club in Oak Brook. The taste event has raised $3 million since its inception.
