Early voting will begin Monday at 16 sites in Lake County. Whereas voters on Election Day must go to their assigned polling place, Lake County residents voting early can go to any of the 16 sites. They include: the Ela, Wauconda, Fremont and Antioch township offices; the Highland Park police station; the Lake County central permit facility in Libertyville; and Round Lake village hall. Operating hours vary. All early voting sites offer grace registration for those citizens who need to register for the first time or update an existing voter registration record.
