Domestic violence victims remembered in Lake Bluff

Families, survivors and advocates will come together at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lake Bluff Village Green, Sheridan Road and Center Street, to honor all victims of domestic violence and their families and the memory of loved ones, friends, and community members who lost their lives due to domestic violence. A Safe Place's 25th annual candle lighting ceremony will include musical tributes, ceremonial lighting of candles, stories by survivors and advocates, and statistics about domestic violence in our area and the nation.
