Recycling event Saturday, Oct. 13 at Arlington Park
Arlington Heights and the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) will host a document destruction event Saturday morning at Arlington Park.
The event is from 9 a.m. to noon at the racetrack's 2200 W. Euclid Ave. entrance.
Residents are allowed to bring up to six file-size boxes or paper bags of documents, which can include medical forms, bank statements, personal files and retired tax forms. Only residents of the 23 SWANCC member communities can participate, and IDs will be checked for verification of residency. For the list of all communities, visit swancc.org.
