Candidates forum Oct. 20 at Schaumburg library

Candidates in local races will meet during a forum Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Schaumburg Township District Library.

Candidates invited to the event, scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m., are 56th House District Democratic incumbent Rep. Michelle Mussman and Republican challenger Jillian Rose Bernas; 8th Congressional District Democratic incumbent Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi and Republican challenger Jitendra "JD" Diganvker; and Cook County 15th District Republican incumbent Commissioner Tim Schneider and Democrat challenger Kevin Morrison.

The forum is among three being co-sponsored at area libraries in October by the League of Women Voters of Palatine and the League of Women Voters Arlington Heights-Mount Prospect-Buffalo Grove. For more information, visit lwvahforums.com.
