Jason Laureys named to Wauconda library board
Wauconda resident Jason Laureys has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Wauconda Area Library board.
Laureys, a professional pilot, replaces the late Terry Stevig on the panel. Stevig died in April after serving more than 36 years on the library board, including the last four as the panel's president.
Laureys will serve until spring 2019 and then can run for election.
