Gurnee woman found dead in DuSable Harbor
A 22-year-old woman was found dead in DuSable Harbor, which is near the mouth of the Chicago River, according to Chicago police.
Daniela Forero lived in Gurnee and had been reported missing Monday.
The Chicago Police Marine Unit conducted a search of the harbor using underwater camera equipment and found her body at the bottom of the lake near the sluice gates of the harbor, according to police.
Forero was pronounced dead at 12:30 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner.
Chicago police are still investigating pending the medical examiner's findings, according to police.
