Schaumburg parks host outdoor concert Sept. 8
Listen to live music outdoors while enjoying a picnic at the Schaumburg Park District's Spring Valley Nature Center Saturday, Sept. 8.
Concert at the Cabin will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the nature center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg.
The Spring Valley Community Concert Band will perform at 6 p.m. under the shelter on the wooded grounds of the Merkle Cabin.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Concertgoers also may bring their own picnics.
The cabin is about a 10-minute walk from the nature center parking lot. A wagon shuttle also will be available.
Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Admission is free.
