Grayslake Summer Days festival wraps up with two parades

The Grayslake Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Summer Days festival ended its two-day run Saturday at Center and Whitney streets in downtown Grayslake.

Summer Days featured activities for the whole family, featuring music, carnival games, food vendors, a bingo tent and a business booth area.

Saturday featured two parades: the Bike and Pet Parade and the Summer Days Parade with the theme "Celebrating the Illinois Bicentennial in Grayslake."

There were go-kart races and a bags tournament, among the other highlights.
