Two more lemonade fundraisers for Lendino family

Two more lemonade stand fundraisers are scheduled this weekend in the Northwest suburbs to benefit the family of Alyssa Lendino.

The 16-year-old Mount Prospect girl was laid to rest Tuesday after being killed in a car crash July 21 in Wheeling. Friends hosted "Lemonade For Lendino's" fundraisers at a dozen locations Aug. 4-5 to help the family with their recovery.

They will sell lemonade again this Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Mount Prospect Family Bike Ride at Melas Park, and from noon to 6 p.m. at the Windy City Dub Fest car show at Chicago Executive Airport.
